Luzene Hill
Luzene Hill is an enrolled member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. She lives and works on the Qualla Boundary in Cherokee, North Carolina. Hill is a multidisciplinary artist, best known for immersive installations and performance collaborations. Her work is informed by pre-contact culture of the Americas and advocates for Indigenous sovereignty – linguistic, cultural and individual sovereignty. She has exhibited throughout the United States, Canada, Russia, Japan and the United Kingdom.
