J. Ross Davis

J. Ross Davis is an award-winning Cherokee photographer and graphic artist. He is a direct descendant of Cherokee Chief John Ross and wife Quatie and resides in the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. A self-taught artist, Davis specializes in wildlife and landscape art, digital photography and videography. His work has been represented in Outdoor Oklahoma magazine, Anadisgoimagazine, Cherokee Phoenix newspaper and at the Spider Gallery in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He has also participated in multiple art markets and shows, including Cherokee Art Market, Southeastern Indian Show and Market, Artesian Arts Festival, Cherokee National Holiday, Cherokee Homecoming Art Show, Trail of Tears Art Show and Art Under the Oaks.
