Jimmie Carole Fife
Jimmie Carole Fife is a Muscogee Creek tribal member. She is a retired educator and artist. Dedicated to the perpetuation of art and history of the Muscogee people, her work includes painting, ribbon work, beadwork, leatherwork, patchwork, and applique. Her major exhibits include Five Civilized Tribes Museum, Muskogee, Oklahoma; Philbrook Museum of Art and Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma; National Museum of the American Indian, George Gustav Heye Center; Smithsonian Institution, New York City; Heard Museum, Phoenix, Arizona; and a traveling exhibit throughout South America.
